Sharing the transforming love of Christ in the greater Springfield area
Welcome |
Dear Friends in Christ,
We invite you to join us this Sunday morning (or Wednesday evening) at St. Mary’s. You will be glad you did. A comment by two of our more recent members was that they felt at home the minute they walked through the door. We are a small but growing church and we have a great vision for the future, which we hope to fulfill by being the hands of Christ in Chatham and in the greater Springfield area. We invite you to arrive at 9:30 so that you can join us for Bible Study and coffee before church. Bring your children. We will welcome them as well. Part of our vision is to grow a Sunday School program. The materials and the teacher are waiting. Mass begins at 10:30. We will hear and preach God’s word, pray together, and share communion. We are members of Anglican Diocese of Quincy and the Anglican Church of North America. We believe in the real presence of Jesus Christ in the bread and the wine, and we invite to our communion table any baptized Christian who believes the same. Following church, we invite you to join us in fellowship at coffee hour. You will find the food good and the conversation stimulating. In short, we love what we have and we would love to share it with you and your family. Please, come and see! Blessings, Fr. Tom |
The Good Shepherd
|
I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. John 1-:11, 27-28
